Citilog, owned by Axis, has a position open for a Business Development Manager based in Lund .

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy, approach and messaging for the segment and developing the organization’s local value proposition to his/her target segment customer base. The BDM should be an ambassador for the organization within the regional market, being both a thought leader and spokesperson for Citilog in his/her specific industry segment

This position will specifically be focused on the Citilog products in the transportation and ITS (Intelligent Transport System) segment for the Northern Europe region

What will you do here?

  • Develop the Regional Business Plan, mapping out a strategy to engage with target end user accounts, as well as identifying and aligning with key partners who operate in the industry segment.
  • Identify and cultivate commercial opportunities for Citilog video analytics solutions with end users and key partners in the segment.
  • Grow the Citilog presence and brand demand in the segment.
  • With the support of the corporate sales and pre-sales team, manage sales activities toward identified key partners, by providing first level technical support, design recommandations and complete technical and financial proposals.
  • Follow-up and report on identified sales leads
  • Close projects with identified Key partners.
  • Manage Citilog representation in key industry associations & lobbying forums in the Region
  • Evolve as a spokesperson for Citilog within the industry segment
  • Follow up and report identified goals and KPIs for the segment

We Believe You Will Need…

  • 5+ Years of Business Development/Sales Experience within the industry segment.
  • Academic degree
  • Experience from the ITS or IT fields in the sector is highly desirable.
  • Possess a network of end user contacts in the segment.
  • An experienced, energetic, results orientated, independent and self-driven individual.
  • A high knowledge and interest in the business and sales environment, preferably gained in the specific segment.
  • Experience from the ITS or IT fields in the sector is highly desirable.
  • Strategic and able to influence others through your activity; you are able to initiate new discussions and relationships with potential customers.

We see that you are passionate, proactive and independent. To thrive in the role you also need to be
well-structured and able to explain complex matters in an easy way and have excellent presentation skills.
We see that you have a high level of integrity and an experience from international Business Development/Sales is preferred.
