In order to be able to test the vehicle’s software in the rig, we use one of the world’s largest HIL systems that supports a large number of truck and bus configurations. The purpose of HIL is to trick the system and its component parts into believing it is executing in a real vehicle with all its dynamics. This is achieved using real-time execution of environmental models.

Your task is to develop and maintain models executing in a dynamic real time environment. Develop the HIL-environment to a modular platform that can support Scania s project and function growth. As a model developer you will also work close to system developers on other groups, to understand coming changes that shall be introduced. You will work cross functional and get a broad network within Scania and as we work with the complete vehicle you will gain knowledge about all systems and functions in our vehicles.

New technical challenges also means possibilities to develop our processes and methods and you will also work to improve those together with the group.

You are a graduate engineer with experience of development within embedded systems. You will preferably have experience of Matlab, Simulink, Labview or similar.
